Same thing, I apparently won a trip for 2 to disney.. She said that I was an "active visa calrdholder" and that the first digit to my credit card was 4..
I told her I do not and have never had a credit card and that I would never put my credit card information on an online contest.
She proceeded to tell me that I did and I insisted I never had. When I said that I suppose its possible I used someone else's she wanted to know whos and when I would be with them again. I said later tonight and she said she'd call me back.
had a call from this number saying they were calling on behalf of Disney, and that we won a free trip to Florida for 4 people. Additional cruise to Mexico too...all they needed was my credit card number and expiry date. I told them I wasn't home and didn't have my purse, which has my credit cards, and they would not give me a number to call them back at (even though I could see the # they were calling from). They were EXTREMELY persistant on getting my credit card info. I eventually hung up.
This number called me as well claiming to be part of Disney. They were VERY persistent and every time I told them I was not interested, they kept going. It was very frustrating talking to them and this was one of the worst telemarker calls I have ever experienced. The person I talked to was ignorant and would not even let me speak. Beware if you get a call from this number!!
The number called me also, claiming to be part of Disney and informing me that i had won a trip to Florida for 4 through a contest that i may have entered a while back. They wanted my credit card info and charged me $194 or $388 for two people but when i told them I didn't have a credit card, they said that that's not what the monitor said, because they have "links" to all the credit card company. So i kept telling them that i have never apply for a visa but they just kept persisting til they finally gave up. Kept me on the phone for 20 mins though haha, and i am probably gonna get a 20 min long distance charge on my phone bill now.
I got the same phone call today...March 17th...the lady said I won a trip to Disneyland as well...she knew my name and email address..she also said I was married and wanted my hubby's name..(I'm not)..she said "oh..you're single hub?"...not very professional ..lol...I just hung up....
