I got a letter in the mail that looked hand written offering to buy my house. This was the number on there to call back. When I did to find out what the heck it was all about (the house isnt for sale), it was a strange guy with an accent who said the letter writter wasnt available but wanted my number and info. I said no and hung up.
A friend or mine got the same hand written letter from the same people offering to buy his house.
The retutn address looks like a UPS post box-2-2026 Lanthier Drive #230 Ottawa
It is in Orleans.
We did not return the call.
I too got the same letter delivered in the mail today. This looks like a possible scam. The return address is the UPS on Lanthier in Orleans. I did not return the call.
I called the number and a woman with an American accent answers. Her name is Pat and she works for Stuart who is looking to invest in properties on Ottawa. Asked her where she is from and said "Cincinati". ......Scam!
