they called me, i said hello, but when nothing was said for a while, i realized it was BS. they called back,. but i let it go to my machine. there was no message left. i noticed something funny, so i looked closely at my phone. they had their caller id set to a phone number, and a different number appeared under it. it showed up as 1-100-134-4409. your best bet for these kinds of calls, is to use a machine sound in response. i suggest using this: http://free-loops.com/download-free-loop-4472.html
skip past the phone dialing part, and feed them the machine sound. they will eventually assume you are a not on a human line.
also go a call a (300) exchange . the caller ID associated with it said 6136864634
Looked up the (300) # and it put me in touch with a website selling purses in China. What the hell? and why are they calling?

My mom got a call from 613-686-4634 today. She called me to check it out on the internet. They said they were calling to raise money for a starving children's fund. It would cost $31.00 for a month to help kids and all mom had to do was give her credit card number. She asked if she could mail out a check for the money and the lady told her no they only took credit card numbers and they were a legitamate business with a website and everything.. My mom said she was going to call her daughter (me) to look into it and the lady could call her back later. Do you know what she said? She told my mom that was fine, she's a mother and grand-mother to and there are lots of scams out there. Call and check it out but in the meantime it would cost the caller money to call mom back because they are using a secure line so she should give the credit card number anyways and then if it turns out to be a scam she can cancel it. What a crock. Beware of the callers who seem too nice.
