Wife got a call from this number by a guy claiming to be an officer with the CRA. After telling her the CRA had 3 cases against her 2010 and 2011 return, and a warrant for immediate arrest he then cut the phone according to her. She called me immediately after all hysterical, saying she was in big trouble and was going to jail. Luckily he never got as far as asking for payment over the phone, as my wife probably would have paid whatever to get out of trouble. Thats when I searched the number on here and saw similar stories. Reported to CRA and police.

My sister today also got the exact same phone call today around 4pm. They said they are calling from CRA and started saying that we have not filed our last two years properly and they have issued a arrest warrant. They also said police are going to come in next 30 minutes to arrest us. But it is a face call. Please be cautious, Complain it to the CRA and also telephone companies.

Got A call from same number claiming to be CRA officer and told me I owed takes and that my property would be seized and transferred me to their supervisor. I could tell from their voice and the info that they were providing that they were fakes. I asked them to give me the number so I can call them right back. I came online and searched the number and sure enough its a scam. I called CRA and informed them and also lodged a complain with the local police.
I did call the number back and told them I was willing to pay. Lets see if they call me back and what they demand.
