I just heard that if you get a call like this and nobody answers, keep hitting the pound (#) button.   It messes with their computer system and they end up removing your number.  ...not sure if that is true...but worth a shot

Wasn't in the house when they called and they left no message on the answering machine. Area code 613 is in the Ottawa area but I don't know anybody in Ottawa or area, and I'm in Manitoba. Has to be a scam of some sort!

I got a call tonight but hung up when no one spoke.

Did not know it and they  left no message
likely a autodialer.  Must be working their way across Canada
