So this dumb [***] Officer Roy Cage is going to send the police after my 90 yr old mother leaves a nasty msg so when I heard the recording I took over and called 613 699 4465 only to leave him a nice msg lol I tell you when I get my hands on this jerk he will be begging me to call the police...,.to come and take him away!!!
Caller left a message on my answering machine. Identified themselves as a Revenue Agency. Said to call back or they would have me arrested. Thing is... they did not mentioned my name or said what kind of debt I had. And.... the message was in English, but my first language is French. Probably a phone "spam".
Received a phone call from CRA and the male person dentified themselves as a so called Officer Roy Cage. Must call this number 613-699-4465 because we owe them money or they will have us arrested.
Officer Mike Dow, strong Pakistani accent (much like the bogus calls we get quarterly from "Microsoft") said he was calling from Revenue Canada concerning an urgent matter concerning our income taxes. I questioned him in a sarcastic tone (Really... our taxes.). He spoke to me will chewing gum most annoyingly in my ear and kept telling me to get a piece of paper and write down "this number because it is most urgent he call. I won't be calling Officer Mike Dow any time soon.
Most definitely a phone scam. The caller identified himself as "Officer" something or other from Canada Revenue. Canada Revenue does not phone people. They send registered letters. He threatened to "get" me arrested if I did not call him back as soon as I got the message. Who falls for these scams?
