Just received a call from this number. Thought it was my sibling calling - didn't check the number calling. It is someone with a heavy foreign accent saying they were from the 'technical department'. I cut them off, told them to take my number off their list and hung up. I am sure it is the Microsoft scam
Didn't answer and no voicemail... don't know anyone in Ottawa either. New domain registration yesterday, so I'm assuming my # was scraped from the domain registry (I'm getting bombarded by these [***]-wipes today) - Blocked
Just got a call from that number 2:23 pm Pacific time, didn't answer after hearing on the news about a scam where the caller ask first: -"Can you hear me well ?" dont say yes if you do, they record you and use it to answer unknowed questions to scam you ! Best suggestion, If you dont know the number, DO NOT ANSWER, and if you do DO NOT SAY YES !
