Anyone asking you to buy Visa cards (or anything of the like) then asking for then numbers associated to the cards is a SCAM. No government agency will EVER ask ANYONE to do this let alone threaten to have them arrested if they do not. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM. USE YOUR COMMON SENSE AND IF YOU QUESTION ANYTHING ATTEND YOUR LOCAL POLICE STATION FOR GUIDENCE.
Got a call from this number claiming to be Canada Revenue Agency. They claimed that I owed them $1000 dollars. They wanted my bank information. They claimed that if I didn't make a payment, the RCMP was going to come and arrest me in a few minutes. They also said that if I didn't make the payment that I would then owe them $10 000 if the payment was not made by tonight. They then tried to ask me for my Visa or Mastercard number.
Just for fun, I've been calling the dude back every couple of minutes and telling him he won a TV or a free trip to Hawaii.
