Said they tried reaching me via my mailing address but did not hear back from you so and to kindly contact them....do not attempt to disregard or ignore this message ..the issue is very time sensitive .... They will be waiting a long time for me to call
Called an elderly client of mine stating there was a very time sensitive matter to discuss regarding an audit to his account. Whene I called it, II didn't respond to the mid-eastern guys hello. I was silent. I listened for 10 minutes. He was obviously unaware that the line was open. I heard another man in the background speaking to someone saying they were revenue Canada and the individual was in trouble. The guy on my line was laughing. I hung up and called back. He said "hello" I said "who is this?" He said revenue Canada. I said really? I don't think revenue Canada answers the phone with "hello". I said " you are not Revenue Canada." He said "F-you....F-you.! And he hung up.
I have received a few calls from this number the same story until I called back and told them that I will call CRA directly to see if such a case exists and if they have such an agent. Calls stopped
