Call saying they are a CRA agent and they have your SIN with 4 criminal charges against you. You are not to ignore this call, you or your lawyer are to call back immediately or face going to prison. No names given by the caller or about the individual that they are looking for.
Received message, started to play past the beginning of the message claiming to be Officer Steven White from the CRA. With 4 criminal charges against my SIN number and to call immediately and to not ignore this call. No name of who they are looking for.
Called and left a message about "4 criminal allegations" against my SIN. Actually not sure who it was for, because he didn't use any of our names, so I don't know who apparently has these 4 criminal allegations against them in our house! Obviously a scam. Claimed to be an officer from Canada Revenue Agency. Leaves his number and tells you to call him back ASAP because it's a "time sensitive issue". Has a very thick accent, could barely understand him, and he began his message before our answering machine could start recording it.
I received EXACTLY SAME message at my 416 area code number today from the same no. (613-707-8506) at 10:29 AM. Message starts abruptly. He said this to be his hotline number. I hope CRA/Police trace the caller and take action for posing as Canada Revenue Agency officier
