Same message here. Warrant for my arrest, wanted to confirm my address (his first guess was wrong as we are listed in the phone book under a town that we live near). I called agent Eric back and told him I would go to police with his phone number. "CLICK". I phoned back and got another "agent" and he said Eric was busy. I gave him a good tongue lashing and asked him who he worked for. Federal Investigations was his answer. He said he would forward my information to the local police. I said I would save him the trouble and go down myself with his name and number and while I am there they could arrest me, "CLICK"
Funny that both "Investigators" had the same accent.
claimed to a crime investigation from CRA, the person called "Ronnie Miller", and told me that my tax did not calculate correctly, and I owe money, and will send RCMP to arrest me unless I "resolve" the problem with them. Asked me to pay 2240CAD, I said it is Friday's night no bank is opening at the moment, he said he will call back Sat 10AM, he did, but I already verify with CRA, it is obvious a fraud. They called, and they found I already noticed they are fraud, and I call me several times, they are not picking up the call anymore.
I received a call (voicemail) from 'officer Jason lee' fr "criminal investigations" of what entity he did not say stating a warrant for arrest had been issued for my husband's (his name listed for our home number) arrest for tax fraud. The call was to my home at about 12:00 pm March 28, 2015 and this number was given as the number to call (*69 gave us a blocked number) to resolve the issue. We tried calling the Anti fraud Centre (http://www.antifraudcentre-centreantifraude.ca/english/index.html) but their 1-888 number appears to be down today. The Rcmp general number suggested I try again Monday.
Those who get this call, please report to anti fraud centre or your local police.
Do not play along in hopes of getting more info. Simply report it.
i received a call on voicemail that a warrant was issued for the arrest for my husband for tax evasion and tax fraud.they left a phone number 613-909-0269.his name was Jayson Blake.
We called the number and it is always busy,so I did a 411.ca reverse look up...no luck. Then I googled the number and found these posts.
It is a fraud call.Real agents or police do not leave voicemail of this nature. They leave their name and phone number only,no threats or details of why they are calling.
Do not fall for their tricks, they are not real.
