Who called from 6139271810

The phone I receive was from officer Brian John, they phoned back and the same guy used the name Paul Cooper.  Below is the announcement from our local police force.

The Guelph Police Fraud unit would like to warn residents of a telephone scam involving the CRA – Canada Revenue Agency.  The caller will advise that there is an outstanding debt owed for taxes and that if the debt is not paid the police will be coming to arrest them and they will be held in custody and possibly deported.

The victims are then advised to either e-transfer money or deposit it directly into a bank account, wire money through Money Gram or purchase Pay Pal, pre-paid Visa’s, or most recently iTunes cards. The victims are often kept on the phone during these purchases to provide the codes or numbers on each card immediately.

People should not respond to these communications. The Canada Revenue Agency will not call to request payment of outstanding debts and they certainly would not request they be made in this way.

Received a 3 call from this number today. Called them back and the were looking for CRA payment. I gave him a little piece of my mind and told him he was full of Sh@# and he wasn't call from Canada. He agreed and said he was calling from Israel. He then told me that he was going to get my wife to ride him.

Same as above, though the first part of the message was cut off.

Blackmail message saying that it is officer from revenue of Canada with forcing to call back.

I received a call from these same guys. They first called my home and spoke to my wife who then alerted me to call the above number. They guy with a French accent straight away accused me of embezzling money from the state through tax eversion and went on to read a prepared statement of my warrant of arrest and deportation . Fortunately I did not give him any personal info. He was about to propose a settlement out of court when it dawned on me that it was a fraud.i've reported the matter to local police who assured me they are aware of this fraud .
