I received the call from 613 927 9694 said is Ontario Canada revenu and they have a warrant arrest on my name,
This is second time they call me and saing they have a waranrt areest on my name.
Message from pretend Canada Revenue Agency threatening warrant for arrest because we have not responded to email or phone call. Says to call immediately. I do not think that the CRA would rely on phone and email to carry out its legal threats at 6:30 Atlantic time
Got call from Revenue Canada telling me that there was a warrant against my name and I had to call them immediately. This is the second call this week.. Both were recordings with foreign accents.
I just got the same recorded message. Warrant against my name and to call back immediately to their direct number... and the recording had a foreign accent.
Look, I get it, it is tax time... but people be smart out there... Do not fall for this!
Yes, they have upped the ante from when they called a few weeks ago warning me that a warrant would be served if I didn't call them back. This time they left a message saying they it was TOO LATE, the warrant had been served, but if I called them back immediately they could help me. I didn't, guess I'm in big trouble now. Located in Saskatoon.
613-927-9694 called and left a msg regarding a warrant being served on behalf of Canada Revenue Agency against me and "to call back immediately."
The person I did call is my elderly aunt to let her know that this is happening AGAIN and to remind her to google any number she does not recognize.
It is people such as my aunt that I worry about.
It is sites such as these that make it SO MUCH EASIER for the vulnerable to do a fact-check on their own!!
