Who called from 6142124435

I answered and a female stated the 2014 auto insurance laws are going to change and asked if I had a minute which I did not so I ended the call.

Just got a call from this number.  I don't know anyone in the Columbus area, but I answered it anyway (mistake #1).  Said "hello" and there was a long pause (like when a telemarketer doesn't respond quickly enough because they are shocked that someone actually answered the call)...so I hung up.

This is a fraud related number. They called about my auto insurance payment fishing for info and I dont even have a car or insurance.

"Hi, this is Sam, I'm calling about your auto insurance.  The new 2015 insurance laws are going to reduce your insurance bill dramatically, do you have a few minutes to go over your coverage?"

NOPE!

Same thing about reducing my auto insurance rates.  HOWEVER:  the number they called is a shipping office in a manufacturing plant.  When I advised the caller of this, very humbly she said, "I'm sorry.  I'll make sure our records are updated so you won't be disturbed again."  Then disconnected.
