They do skip trace people. they probably found your number under a search as maybe an old number for the person they are looking for. I would answer the phone and ask them POLITELY to stop. They are just doing their jobs
have called numerous times looking for my daughter no longer lives here hasn't for years and any and all accounts she has were opened with her cell number they bare [***] and constantlu call our home phone claims they have removed our number I will wait ant see they did change their number because I blocked the first couple
calles several times a day, Im sure its a bill collector but they never leave a message and Im usually at work when they call so I can nver answer to tell them to please stop calling me.
