I received a call from this number and they said they needed to hear back from me or my attorney. I called them back and the lady immediately put me on hold, came back on the phone and said I can't find your number...let me run it again! She said third times a charm and said they received info from a store front cash loans customer that is filling criminal charges against me for non payment. I said I know this is a scam because I don't use those places...she then hung up on me. I called back and let her know I would be filing a complaint for harassment with this number. This is a huge scam to get you to pay but scarfing you into jail and criminal charges. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!!!
Called stating I had a case pending mediation and that I or my lawyer needed to call back before the end of the day otherwise forfeit rights. No other info. Identified herself as Rachel Lomax.
Someone from this number JUST called me trying to scare me into thinking they were going to take me to court over a debt that I've never even heard of. Don't fall for this, it's a SCAM.
Received calls to my landline and cell this morning from this number and received the same scripted voicemail message. I know I do not owe any debts, and I also know that you don't "waive your right to counsel" by failing to return a call today. I filed complaints with the Office of the Attorney General (AG) for the State of California as well as with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). It's easy to submit complaints online with your state AG office and the FTC. If you believe these calls to be fraudulent, please file complaints.
