Just got a call asking for "the owner" so I said "of what?" They mispronounced the name of my company and I said this is him what's up. He said he's calling about a notice we received about mastercard's new 2 stage processing. I said from who. He said from your card processor. And I said who is that and he said you accept credit cards don't you? And I said "yes..." but who processes my credit cards. He couldn't tell me so I asked "who are you with?" And he said something I couldn't make out and he said "you should have received a notice from your bank", and I said "who's my bank?" And he was like "no sir, you process cards through your bank don't you?"
And I said "we use a credit union not a bank"...and he said "oh then you probably didn't get that notice", and I said "no, that wouldn't make sense would it?" And he hung up....
