Write them a letter and send it certified return receipt. Tell them your going to file complaints with the FTC, CFPB and also the state AG if you get any more calls and they attempt to send you a new subscription that you did not agree to and their saleswoman that called did this to you.This is a TCPA violation. Also look into your states DNC laws as well. The links are in my post above. Remember this also. Find your state laws regarding call recording, here's the link for them, and record all calls - telling them usually will result in a hang up call at any rate and its also proof they have been told more then once to stop. Take a pic of your caller ID also, as it will show the time & date as well as the number.
Caller I.D. ... Canal Winchester ... twice per day this past week ... I do not answer ... no recording on answering maching ... attempted to block but call gets through anyway
They call 2-3 times per day. It's been going on for several weeks. If we don't answer, they don't leave a message. If we do answer, there is a long delay then a fast busy signal. Never anyone on the line. I'm glad to see others reporting this as the Columbus Dispatch. I recently cancelled my subscription to the paper, and if this is them calling for me to re-subscribe it will NEVER happen based on these annoying persistent calls.
I had the audacity to cancel my Dispatch subscription a week or two ago. I was amazed at how easy it was (once I finally got a real person on the line). Unfortunately, the calls have been coming in for me as well, multiple times per day. I don't answer numbers I don't recognize, but I'm sure it's the Dispatch. Will block them. They're terrible with these incessant, harassing calls.
