I got a call from this number; didn't answer but the caller left a message for me to call back to avoid prosecution. The party is involved in a scam or fraud.
Caller left a message warning me to call back to avoid prosecution. When I called back, they asked for my number; didn't give it to the male who spoke with an island accent.
I said, "You called me so you should have my number so the message must be [***]."
He answered, "F___ yourself and shove the [***] up your [***]." and ended the call.
Very bad English. Sounded like it was from a massive call center. They called my cell phone and an automated message was left saying if I did not return their call I would be facing federal charges. I called them from a different line and drilled them until they hung up on me. Reporting them to do not call registry. Very suspicious!!!!!!! Never stated a company or anything, just prodded me for my personal information, which I refused to give.
I got a message, they left a recorded measurement. Caller name is Susan Herrera or something with a Federal Batch ID# 17906. It said it is the second attempt to reach me, which it is the very first time I heard the number and message. Also, it say I will be charged by a Federal Mastigate Judge or something in regards to the Treasury,
Ok, so, I'm in highschool. So, I shouldn't have to pay taxes, right? Well I got a phone call from a person with bad English, and it's the first time I had a phone, or gotten a phone call like that. So, I believed him. I gave him my REAL NAME but, that's it. After doing that, I made several logical points saying why this phone call doesn't make any sense. He never had any reason to back that up, but instead kept going back to the main point: which was, if you don't have at least 500 dollars by the end of this phone call, I will send police over to your house and arrest you. He kept badgering me. It was very informal, and at first, I was crying, but, when I realized it was a scam--this was after I hung up, I was pissed.
