Received a call from this number 614-360-2852 saying his name was John saying that they are a company that will send you out mailing lists of new home owners in your area. I told them I was not interested and they just keep on talking and the I told "John" I had other business partners I had to talk to about this before any decsions where made. I ended up hanging up on them.. I asked him what is the catch and he said there is not one and proceeded to say for $63.00 a month you can get the new home owner mailing list and they will montior it and keep track of who will use ytour coupon for your business.Still tolds him NO and ended up hanging up on him..
Received call today.. He asked if my office was accepting new patients ( I work for a pediatric dental office). He then asked what the Dr's name was, and asked if he could speak with her. I said she was with patients and I could take a message. He said he already had her email address and could either call back or email. I said email would be fine. And he hung up.
VERY PUSHY.
Asked to speak to the owner of the gallery & when told that he wasn't available, said he just had one question and asked if we were open to the public and said he'd hold for the owner. Called identified himself as Joseph Urban (who is the name of a long dead artist--perhaps he got this from our website?!). I identified myself as the manager and told him we were open to the public, but he only wanted to talk to the owner. Was very pushy and then I told him I could have the owner return his call, he said he'd call back later. Hope we don't have some bogus charges because of this call!
Glad I came here and read these. I work for a church and just had a call from this number. She asked for our minister by name, but he isn't in. When I asked if I could take a message, she said she would just call back. Since I know what it is for now, I can warn him. :)
This individual called and asked for the owner and when told they were not available insisted upon asking questions about us- told HIM very politely not interested or available to answer questions--we hung up THEN researched the caller I.D. and came up as for out going calls only with number 740-201-0420. SCAM BEWARE RED FLAGS EVERYWHERE.
