You probably marked your number as live going through those 'prompts'

Don't answer the calls, don't go through the prompts.. come on people.. do you really think these scammers care that you are on a do not call list?

Didn't answer and no message was left.

I have been getting almost daily phone calls from unrecognized numbers that are similar to mine in the 614 area code. This is the latest. Occasionally messages are left, and I can tell from the message that they are running a scam.  Have also received calls from (614) 397-5156, (614) 397-3844, (614) 397-4486, (614) 397-1260, (614) 397-8163, (614) 397-9856, (614) 397-8159, (614) 397-6333, (614) 397-4550, and the calls I answered were all scams starting with a recording meant to sound like a live person. Scam artists may be spoofing local numbers thinking someone may be more likely to answer.
