This is unsolicited Medicare supplemental insurance sales robocall. Caller ID says "SENIOR SERVIES". A robot congratulated me on my birthday, asked a series of questions and responded to my answers. Boiler room background noise is supposed to make the robot sound like a human. They're getting pretty good! Even when I responded negatively, the robot seemed to understand but kept trying to qualify me so as to eventually route me to a real person.
If you are on DNC, this call is/was illegal. In addition, it is against Medicare rules for a company to solicit your Medicare business without your prior authorization. i.e.- It is against Medicare's rules for them to cold call you to solicit your business. I won't do business with any company whose first contact with me is illegal and against Medicare's rules. This number goes on my blocked list. Cheers.
My husband is about to turn 65 and this is just one of a deluge of calls from Medicare related scams. My call blocker stops most of these calls (thankfully), but I usually check here to see who is calling. You'd think at the very least they'd learn how to spell "Services" (which I assume is what it's supposed to be.
