It IS Verizon. Its their Columbus Customer Service call center. They place courtesy calls when balancesare due to set up a payment option. The calls are not filtered through the corporate headquarters, so the 800 number we call for customer service does not have record of the local number making the call

Verizon Wireless calling about a past due bill. Was perfectly legitimate.

Also probably trying to sell more stuff to you.  I have a $0 balance and getting the calls.

You're saying it's Verizon and legit. They keep calling here and I don't HAVE Verizon!!!!
