I had a guy call and tell me he was from a electric company and that they now my carrier. He said I'm going to transfer you to someone else and tell them my name and spell it for them. I asked him what's my name he said what I said what's my name he said he didn't have that information. I told him this wasn't my phone and hung up. The phone is a family members name and I'm not listed as the owner on the account. A woman called back and I answered she asked if I was the homeowner I said yes and then the phone went to a recording telling me hello this is Santana Energy Services since you have been selected for our fixed rate program so you can recieve potential savings on your utility bills contact us at 614-407-0528. The first time the man called he try to make me feel like I had no choice. They have called back 3 times so far the next day.
Most likely a scam. Called my cell phone, left a message informing me they were Santana Energy Services, and I've been approved for their fixed rate energy program which can save me money. Considering I currently don't have a place of my own where I pay any energy bills I suspect this is scam.
