Just when you hope you'll get through the weekend without a clown-idiot calling to scam some money, these fools call. They solicit for XXXXX, for a bogus pile of baloney, etc., and use several numbers. As others have stated and I can confirm, 604-407-xxxx numbers mean trouble. So far, I've gotten the same calls via these numbers: 614-407-5647, -5630, -5731, -5280, -9689, -9618, and -9766. Beware.

I received a call from 614-407-9618. He had a very deep. authoratative voice. He claimed to be an Ohio State Trooper working on a fund drive for the Trooper Christmas Drive. I just requested a website address so I could research the drive he was talking about so I could make a donation online (I am not making any donation). He did provide a legit site but that isn't difficult to research. He did not want to take "no" for an answer.
