I rarely answer numbers I don't recognize, but I decided to answer this one. It was rude man claiming to be from the Ohio Troopers Coalition asking for my financial pledge. I declined 3 times and he rudely persisted. Scam. I fear for those that would be willing to make a payment to a stranger who cold called them.
I received a call from this number a few minutes ago, and Time-Warner Phone's anti spam feature automatically disconnected the call after one ring. All the caller ID says is, "V93017342800102". Yeah, like I would have answered a call with a bogus looking ID like that? Come on scammers, is it really so easy to scam people that you don't even bother to have caller ID which look like something plausible? Good riddance to you .
