I have been getting almost daily phone calls from unrecognized numbers that are similar to mine in the 614 area code. This is the latest. Occasionally messages are left, and I can tell from the message that they are running a scam. Have also received calls from (614) 397-5156, (614) 397-3844, (614) 397-4486, (614) 397-1260, (614) 397-8163, (614) 397-9856, (614) 397-8159, (614) 397-6333, (614) 397-4550, 614-363-2017, and the calls I answered were all scams starting with a recording meant to sound like a live person. Scam artists may be spoofing local numbers thinking someone may be more likely to answer.
