They called this morning claiming to be from ATT wanting to confirm details for our security system. Apologized for the inconvenience when told we didn't have a security system through ATT. Called back the number which said it was disconnected.
Called today, she said she was from ADT. I asked her why is she calling me. I am on the Do not call List. She said she wouldn't take me off there list. We shall see.
This number and others have been harassing us for months. It is a dangerous scam!! They're saying they they want to upgrade our alarm system yet they refuse to say who they are, but they "represent many companies and are the ones who make the alarms." We had just had a technician out (we added the glass break sensor) and told them there isn't anything else to upgrade, they hung up. I called them back, # was disconnected. I called our alarm company who said it wasn't them and that people were calling around to find out who has alarms for robbery. Thank God for our alarm. I also talked to local PD who are already aware and are telling people to say "I'm fine with the alarm I have thank you and hang up." Unfortunately they won't/don't stop calling. I'm still getting harassed!!
