Same here. I think it's pretty cowardly when they do that. I do know from working for an attorneys office, that debt collectors will do this and try to state later in legal documents that they called a person; which is totally illegal since they actually didn't make contact / speak to the person.
Recording said had been chosen for a free trip, asked if I was over 28 and had a credit card or debit card, I said no and it disconnected. I called back the recording wasn't clear about who or why they was calling but you can push 9 to be removed from there calling list. They had called my cellphone 5 times in a few minutes.
