Received a call just now but no voicemail.. I've heard scammers can get your info by calling back so looked it up on here.. no voicemail left..?? Def not calling it back!
I didn't answer. They did not leave a voicemail. I called back from a separate phone and heard the recording "This number is no longer in service. This is a recording." (Although I put quotes, that may be paraphrased a bit.) But it is NOT your typical message from the phone company!!! The line stayed open longer than I was willing to check. 2 minutes. Nothing happened in those 2 minutes, just dead silence. I pressed a BUNCH of numbers and there was no change.
At worst it could be a scam. At best it could be a legitimate business that has some very shady and unethical practices. The phone number is very obviously NOT disconnected.
