This is the puppy scam. They don't want you to pick it up, they want to have you pay them to "ship it". Of course there will be problem after problem and they will need more and more money. This is the perfect example of why you should always get your new next best friend from the shelter. You get to meet it, get to know it, and even get to take it home the very same day. And just think how great you will feel every day knowing you helped out an animal in need.
