This is gotten out of hand. They have called me from all different numbers even though I have them blocked they get through. I am tired of this. Leave the same message about if I don't contact them they are sending it to the state and I am giving up my rights.
called this company back, Thomas Mancini and assoc. stated I had check fraud to an Equity Funding back from 8-12-2013. she said was a payday loan that tried to take their payment out and my account closed. I advised her didn't take money from them and that they tried mailing me. address was good at time and email was incorrect. saying I owed 1216.37. no mention of how much I borrowed and that there was no number for this Equity Funding. I told her I filed bankruptcy and all bills were included. she said not this one. told her will reach my attorney and she said good luck to me that they were filing charges. I told her I needed to verify info that this wasn't a scam. she kept talking over me.

Answering or calling them is EXACTLY what they are hoping !!!!!!!
These scammers ONLY make money when you answer or call them back.
These scams can make money from you in multiple ways, BUT ONLY if you answer or call them back.
1. If you speak to them, they try and convince/scare you into thinking you owe money and must pay them immediately. BAD IDEA!!!!!
2. If you call them back, they now KNOW your number is good and your number is now on a list they can sell for more money than just an unknown numbers list. And you will get more phone calls from others that buy these lists. BAD IDEA!!!!!!
Answering or calling back will guaranty your scam calls will continue and certainly increase in volume.
