I blocked this number weeks ago. I pretty much always block calls from unknown numbers, especially after Googling the number. Since then, "they" have called 7 times and never even made my phone ring. Maybe the next generation of robo-callers will be able to recognize when their number has been blocked. But then again, maybe not. They're still going to be blocked either way.
Must be a new number used by spammers--they (tried) to call me today, but got only my voice mail. (Hey--I don't recognize it, I don't answer it! Try leaving a message, dummies. Of course you won't, you're looking for a live fish to bother.) The number is a VoIP from some phone company I've never heard of. It's a Columbus, OH number. And I wonder if it's spoofed--the name on my caller ID said "AEP" which is an electric utility in OH.
