Did not answer but immediately labeled the call as "Spam" in my contacts list. I have collected over 40 numbers labeled as Spam but spammers still continue to call using different numbers.
This number popped up in caller ID. Since I didn't recognise it, I didn't answer. No message was left in voice mail, leading me to believe that this was a robocall or batch-dialed scammer.
No. You did exactly what the crook wanted you to do. Call back. They now have registered your number as live, and that the person will call back an unknown number. Your number will now be sold to other crooks. Expect more calls. Check numbers FIRST.
