I received a text from "Bruce" about a craigs list ad. Said he can only text due to hearing loss and wants to send me a cashiers check. He wants to buy my item for his nephew and then after the check clears he will send a mover to pick it up.
Scammer answered our Craigslist ad. BS about notary, movers, etc. Story kept changing. Didnt want to talk by phone, just text, because he had a "hearing problem". Said his name was "Jason". Numerous sites report this number for scam/spam.
I'm not sure who the heck reported my number on here, never tried buying something on craigslist or anywhere online for that matter and my name isn't Jason. Whoever did this, I will make sure I find and sue their [***] off.
