Caller ID: Comenity
I am on the Do Not Call list but receive several calls per day. Calls 4 times (so far) today and 6 times yesterday and this has been duplicated daily for weeks. They call from 8 AM-9 PM leaving no message. This is HARASSMENT no matter who it is or for what purpose!
The calls from this number started weeks ago . Today they started at 8:15 am . I received 7 calls before noon today . Now at 5:23 pm another making it 8 calls . They ask for Gail Cantu . I tell them they have the wrong number and they hang up . Other times they tell me they won't stop until they get in contact with this person . I don't know her , she doesn't live here , and they have the wrong number.
I have called the DNC center and again put my numbers on the list made other calls looking for help to get this to stop . My only move now is to get a lawyer. They also call from 614-729-5607 number and it's the same people. I don't know this person and don't have a VS acct. I am being harassed non stop. They call mins apart all day . It's worse if I don't answer I mean mins apart if I don't .
The calls are from Comenity Bank. I am sending a cease and desist letter from them, as they call constantly, all day, 7 days a week. Here's some information I found on the BBB.

Because the company processes consumer credit card accounts and billing statements for many retail stores and businesses, the company advised in a letter to the BBB that an account number is necessary to address communication from our BBB in a timely manner. Therefore, we suggest that if you are filing correspondence with our office concerning this company, that you include your complete name and mailing address, the merchant's name, and the account number.
Company advises if consumers are attempting to reach Customer Service, check the number on the back of their card for the appropriate number for that client.

Like others on this thread, I have received at least 4 calls a day from Comenity every day (including Sunday) for 6 months. I am not exaggerating. Have never answered the phone, not once. I have no debts, and am on DNC list. This is outrageous harassment, and this company is the sleaziest telemarketer of them all (no small feat). Other numbers that they call from are 614 729 6086, 614 534 2525 and 303 255 5353.
