We no longer answer calls from distant or unknown area codes or unknown numbers.
We block them!
Have now blocked the entire 614 area code.
Called identifying themselves as a close family member (by first name only) and said they were hurt and provided a case number. I asked for the family members birthday, and the caller changed the subject without answering the question.
