From the world of clowns, callers like this give telephones a bad name. Who knows who they might be? Maybe a company taking a survey or something else that, however annoying, is legitimate. Still, when their Caller ID says the call is local, when it clearly isn't, is a tip-off. The fact that they don't acknowledge who they are with Caller ID is another red flag, although a surprising number of genuine callers -- legitimate businesses, for example -- don't use Caller ID to let people know who they are. That's unprofessional and gets those companies lumped in with spammers and crooks. What idiots.
Local call....and 614 is local for me. No message....so guessing it is from one of the many call centers that have located here recently. Could also be the political call Sharon refers too......'tis the season.
