This number appears on my caller ID quite frequently. I answered this time and they asked for another member of the household. I told them that they could not come to the phone and offered to take a message, the man said " I will call back later". I told him no he won't unless he tells me why he is calling. He refused and said he will call again. I told him no he won't, he said yes I will and you can't stop me. I told him I will block such calls from my phone number. He said go ahead we have other numbers.
I told him not to call again or I will report this number to the attorney general as harassment, he laughed and hung up. If anyone knows why grove city ohio is calling residents, let me know.
This number has called my landline quite a few times over the past few days, at all hours. My landline usually goes to my fax after a few rings, but today I finally answered it. Some guy in a gruff tone asking for someone. When I asked who it was, he hung up. Upon calling it back, there is no business name or anything of the sort. When you press "1" for more information, it just says to enter your number, then that "the fundraiser or organization of which is trying to contact you will contact you with information". I called my local police department, and had a detective come out so I could file a phone harassment complaint. The detective that came out contacted Grove City police, since it was coming up on Caller ID as Grove City OH. My detective said Grove City PD told him it was a cell phone number. Due to recent complaints, they are trying to pinpoint which which carrier it is through, and get the information of the owner. If they are successful in doing that, I was told that Grove City PD would be filing charges of Telecommunications Harassment..
A man has been calling from this number (614-808-4764) leaving a message with just my first name and are your there?. I was home when the call came through again today. Whin I pucked up the caller stated he was collecting for a fund for fallen police officers familys. Told him not to call back.
