Same caller AEP; now is blocked; from Friday afternoon to Monday afternoon to call again...I call back; just check number and get an immediate manual hang-up.
I call-screened and he was leaving a message: Hi, this is James from the rate department, and we've been trying to reach you so we can apply the new lower rate to your electric bill . . . and I pushed the stop button on my answering machine at that point.
I just got the same call from "James". Robo call; I did not pick up and they want me to call back with my electric bill in hand and the reference number they gave me. It isn't enough that these people call me with live people to bother me and knock on my door so much that I had to put up a "No Solicitation" sign but now they're using robo-calls.
They have called several times, treated me same way. I called them back three or four times in a row; they hung-up manually; immediately, each time [almost nothing else sounds like a manual phone hang-up]. only so many block call slota available, but finally gave them one. Almost as ridiculous as alleged Akron Fire-Fighters calling to fund raise like 150-250 miles away... Duh
