They're looking to lower your interest rate on one or more credit cards. When they called, I ignored it since I didn't recognize the number, and they didn't leave a message. Seems like I'm getting a bunch of unwanted calls as of recent with just dead air.
Received call from this number on my cell phone with CA area code. Not expecting a call from this OH area code. Didn't answer No message left. Thanks to others for info. Not missing anything except irritation if answered.
Message says I'm eligible to lower credit card rate. They do not state what bank they're calling from, nor which credit card they're supposedly offering to lower the rate for! What a scam! Why would banks want to earn less interest from consumers! Usually, it is the consumer who has to call and ask for a rate reduction!!! BEWARE!
