Was some noise sound, then some man said hello, held on a few seconds, then hung up.
I don't answer unknown calls.

Caller ID said Ohio call. No message.

Stays on answering machine but does not speak

Nothing said, no noise, for 15 seconds, then busy signal !

OHIO CALL. I picked up and said hello. They hung up. It appears they are checking if the phone is a working number.
