I just received a call from this annoying number!!! It sounded like a middle eastern guy. I asked him what he wanted and why he kept calling 5 times a day! I asked if he was trying to sell something and to leave us alone. He said he would call all the time. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he said 'no.' Then he called me a crazy lady!!! After I started cussing him out he hung up!! I called my phone provider and they told me how to turn on my call screening. This is the only option we have, other than going on the no call list!
How does he have the nerve to call my private residence and then harrass me like this?! And this is the first time, this is just the time that put me over the top.
A woman with a foriegn accent called to tell me I had won a $500 online shopping spree. All I had to do was pay $1.95. I had to take another call and she stayed on the line forever. I asked her when I had to pay and why and she told me to hold and didn't come back. Now someone keeps calling from that number and doesn't leave a message and I am not able to call it back. It says all lines busy
ive gotten several calls from this number. Most of the time they hang up as soon as I say "hello".
But the few times that they do speak its an Indian trying to tell me I won something I wasn't even trying to...oh, and I have to pay for something to complete the winning process.
I can't believe that they can actually still make money scamming people like this. I guess they do though...I mean they're still making the phone calls and probably wouldn't be of they didnt make money doing it.
Come on everybody, wise up! If it sounds to good to be true, then it probably is.
Lame. I wish they would at least learn how to properly pronounce the English language.
I can't complain to bad though...I have A LOT of fun messing with them. I like to put it on speakerphone and let all of my friends chime in and make things very difficult for the caller. We try to make them waste as much time with us on the line as possible.
This is an EVERY DAY occurance. They call and leave no message. If I happen to be home, they hang up as soon as I answer. When I try to call back, no one ever answers. It's very annoying!
This call was from a man with an Indian accent calling to offer an online education degree. When I declined, this person asked me if I was alone or if I was uncomfortable discussing such things with him. I put the phone down. When I called back later to complain, the call wouldn't go through. The caller ID identified the number as International Gateway.
