This particular Scammer called at 10:18am. Being unfamiliar with human speech, he/she hung up on my answering machine without a peep! (The obvious trait of a Scammer!)

Got a call from this number and she said her name is Betty and she is 75 years old. She is calling about clothing and household items for donations for ARC. Her daughter is handicapped and has received assistance from ARC for medical bills, equipment, etc. ARC is nationwide but this donation drive is for TN. She gave me the website address as ARDC.ORG and is happy to answer any questions I had. I must say I am happy to find an actual legitimate organization calling instead some of the other bogus calls I have received in the past. Always ask questions!! If they are legit they won't mind answering any questions you have. She was very sweet and polite, I hope Ms. Betty raises as much as she can for such a worthy cause.
