I've been called by this number twice. The first time yesterday the answering machine had no message. Tonight I answered it and no one said anything. So this is another annoying GOP campaigning call. I'm not voting for Willard Romney or Barack Obama - in fact I'm not voting this year at all. They probably bother me because I was a Ron Paul supporter in the past. After the way the GOP treated Congressman Paul and his supporters in the caucuses, primaries, state delegate selections and at the convention, the party will never get my vote ever again.
The guy starts out with a happy, happy voice and after getting my name right. He launches into his script of asking me if I was going to vote and how his call was supposed to insure I was informed on the issues. I told him to get to the point and I asked who he was pitching and he said those horrible words - Romney / Ryan.
There was NOTHING left to say nor hear from him and I left that caller with an immediate dial tone. Once I got off the phone I immediately had my son do the thing where it instantly block's the number from ever being able to call again.
Surely they're calling us because we're registered republicans and they've gotten our numbers off previous donors lists, BOE records and things like that. So what they're going to learn is myself and my husband have cut off the donations and we're surely not stupid and we're not voting for Romney / Ryan as a disaster duo that's trying to promote everything we're against.
Only good thing that simple phone guy just did. Was reminded me to go cast my early vote for President Obama / Biden and some local issues tomorrow after I drop the children off at school.
