Two rings then whoever it is hangs up. Doesn't even wait to see if I have VM. Sooner or later, I will be out of everyone's database. I never pick up unless the call originates from inside or I'm expecting the call from a vendor I've initiated contact with.
Received this call in the afternoon on my direct business line. I believe this to be a business call on behalf of Optio Data who is an IT reseller of sorts. I did not answer so I can't be for sure though I have been receiving a ton of sales emails and calls lately.

Update... Apparently he did get to my VM. While I was typing the above, I got a notification that I had a new one. What others have said above, confirmed. He is from Optiodata. Their contact info is published at the link below.
I answered the call. It was Brian from Optia Data wanting to ask some questions about our company's relationship with Dell, which supposedly they're partnering with. I told him that we had no complaints but that we only sporadically purchased from Dell anyway. He stumbled a little bit and said "oh, okay, well, I'm glad they're doing a good job", said good bye and hung up. I'm guessing that he was looking for bigger fish...?
