I recieved a bill for a credit card which I had not applied for.. called the company and they were suppose to cancel the account. Since then I recieve calls every couple of days during work hours but if I happen to be home and answer the line is dead. The calls are from several different numbers 201-373-8349, 240-389-6635, 616-980-2537, 571-283-6424, & 616-597-4101 all HSBC srvs on caller ID.
I just got a call from the 616-597-4101 number but did not answer it, nor did they leave a message. When I don't know the area code, I don't answer and will do a google search on the number. It's weird, in the past three days, I've gotten calls from three different area codes but none of them left a message and I don't know anyone in those area codes. Yesterday, it was from 407-285-1717 in Orlando FL; and the day before that it was 571-283-6424 in the Arlington VA area. What's going on?
I've also just received a call from 616-597-4101 (TN Removal Line) at 8:24pm. It did not leave a message and hung up. I looked on caller ID and noticed the 571-283-6424 number called 4 days ago at 8:24pm. Good stuff.
Received a call from 616-597-4101, the line was dead on their end. Called the number back and got ICT. They are calling on behalf of HSBC. They offer an option to remove you phone number from their list.
