It is a mass telemarketer call, they place the calls to 250 phones per minute for the call log and the little [***] heads turn in the print out and get paid as it looks as like they have contacted all the numbers. Dont answer every call answered it registers and is credited to them, in turn it is not a company placing the calls, these are individuals that work in these companies and are on verge of getting fired so they mass call to try and earn as much money before exiting the company.
I got a call saying my credit was in jeopardy. Click one and someone asked me if I wanted to lower the interest on my credit cards. I said no. They hung up. Who are these people?
They advertise as ADT, they are actually Home Security Specialists. Contact ADT - they are working on making this stop. You can reach ADT's corporate harassing calls line at 877-377-7343.
The company calling is rude whenever you ask who they are, or what company they are actually calling from, or "is this ADT", they make nasty remarks or just slam the phone on you. I am registered on the do not call registry, and I have also pressed the #1 to have the calls stop when they call and I call the number back, but it does nothing to have them stop. Be sure to call ADT and report any numbers they are calling from and any info you can get from the people to give to ADT so they can handle it.
