says something while recording is going but then says nothing that it would record.

They say it's from "DiscoverCard Courtesy Call" but it's a lie.  It's a third party marketing company, basically trying to rip you off.

Caller did not speak English. No idea what she wanted.

Just talked to this number since I am in Texas and 616 area code is my hometown so I thought it was somebody from home.  It was DirecTV trying to bundle my satellite package with a home security system.  This is why I don't answer unknown numbers, now I have to even avoid familiar area codes
