When I worked for a collection agency, we weren't allowed to say anything about what the call was concerning outside of "Its a personal business matter" to anyone other than the debtor or their spouse. As far as I know, FDCPA regulations prohibit collection agencies from giving out that type of information, however to be sure, you can google FDCPA regulations and it will tell you.
Yep - This is Allied Collections based out of Michigan. They mainly collect on medical debts. A legitimate, although highly annoying, collection agency.
